And realize just how terrible the graphics and technology is in it?

I saw Hackers last night for the first time in years.
The graphics were just so laughibly terrible.
And the computers were so big and ugly, lol.

Doesn't matter tho..
Angelina Jolie and Jonny Lee Miller trump them both. >.>

I actually rarely do suffer from such effect, I tend to see technology in the context of its time, so if its a movie from 83 then the clunky Cray Graphics are state of the art! Its part of the appeal...

What puts me off is when they manage to totally get old technology wrong in modern movies. See Bones. >_>

Yeah Spleen has a problem with the inconsistency on Bones.

One time they talked about finding a titanium pin in a huge potter of dirt with a magnet..

He went on a nerd rant. <.<

It's paramagnetic with a low K rating, You'd need much more than what they used to pick up a piece of it. >.>

Also, the Harry Potter series is a great example of graphics technology in movies, the difference between the first and last one is astounding.

Let's not forget the Hermione effect.

Anybody see The Guyver with Mark Hamill back in the day? I thought it was good when i was a kid. But when I watched it last year (it happened to be on a movie channel late one night) I couldn't stop laughing about how corny and cheap the film is. Some movies should be seen once as a kid and never again. The anime is pretty good though.
