Does anyone here play instruments or make music?

I play a LITTLE guitar, haven't done for ages so I probably forgot more then I ever learned... Ukulele is my weapon of choice now at the moment since last year. I also own an old Casio keyboard (one of these toythings from the ninties, still a fun device) and I make tracks in computer programs with virtual synthesizers sometimes. Just playing around mostly.

The most musical thing I do is tap things on other things. I do a lot of that though.

I play guitar and I do a little songwriting from time to time.

I've never recorded, but I would if I could afford equipment and actually get some people together to play. It's always just me with a guitar because my friends are kind of dicks about it. For example, the drummer always says his parts are too boring and tries to "jazz them up" by throwing in random things he can't play. The bassist also decided he wants to play acoustic guitar instead, so there's that...

I swear, eventually I'm gonna give up on it and end up doing it all digitally.

That's pretty cool. If you ever get them to stop being dumbasses long enough to record anything, please post it.

Oh. Dear.

I have been doing the sound for my nieces band a while, before they split, and it was EXACTLY THE SAME! O.o Also the bassist wanted to sing... >_<

There's no problem with that, really, plenty of people sing while they play their instrument.

Oh, or do you mean instead of playing bass? Then I see what you mean, lol.
