The Hobbit was one of my favorite books growing up

I am now excite

my gma has a copy of The Hobbit with whatever made up language on the front, spine, and back, with a full map and everything

It's like, The Hobbit, collectors edition, but like 40 years ago >.>

My friend's gf would always be like "Oooh, look, a free ______ on craigslist! All I have to do is drive to his house"

I would secretly think "Do it, do it and thin the herd"

Awesome. It's also going to be neat that it'll be played back at 48fps instead of 24.

Orly?

Rule of thumb is most scenes, when you hit 30 you can't notice it, but I find myself able to tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps >.>

This is gonna be awesome

i bet this is so the movie uses more data, thus taking up more of the blu-ray, thus allowing them to release 'ultra mega super happy fun time 20 disk collectors edition The Hobbit'

you can't charge more if it's all on one disk >.>

The human eye doesn't actually have a measurable frame rate, and can technically see thousands of frames a second, the smoothness really just depends on what's going on. The more frames, the less your brain will blur them together.

I probably won't go see it in theaters tho. I'm trying hard to save my money. I'l probably either watch it online or rent it later on. Just like Dark Knight.

>.> I love that book. It's actually written better than the trilogy.

Also still cant believe that asshat is dragging the hobbit into THREE movies. I could maybe see 2 if you actually stick to the majority of details, three is just greed given form.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.
