The screen is the real big deal here.I'd love to have that pixel density over a 24"+ monitor.

Most of their stuff isn't that high tech, just pretty.

I hate Apple for being overpriced shit that can barely do half of what Windows can do.

I also hate them because they've created a legion of hipsters who look down on "puny Windows users" despite the fact that they do...everything better than Apple does.

Does using a windows product in the Hipster coffee hut create an air of arrogance?

Well technically you can't tell, because there's no such thing as a Microsoft computer (to my knowledge). There are Sony computers, Dell computers, Asus computers etc. but not Microsoft.

Giant apple logo = Mac OS

Anything else = Windows

Yes, you can install windows on apples, and mac on PCs, but now you're just getting into semantics

1. Find Gaming PC

2. Install Windows ME

3. ????

4. Revel in the fact that you can only use a quarter gb ram, and are probably having yield issues [in anything with more than a single core]

I generally agree, but I don't think there's anything at that resolution. Even Ultrasharps are only 2560x1600

I wonder if you cry the first couple times you use it, as your eyes adjust to the beauty of it all

Apple is a pretty fucking shitty company, but they really do make great laptops. I still hate pretty much everything having to do with Apple and its fanbase, but their Macbook Pro is really nice. I have a Windows gaming computer that completely dominates my Macbook Pro in practically every technical spec, but a fully supported Unix machine is so much nicer to work on for what I do with my computer. I would have to have far more disposable income than I do now to warrant purchasing their newest line, but I would really like to own this computer. I've always hated Windows' window management, and the lack of control over Windows' internal workings along with how Windows handles file access makes OS X far more pleasurable to use in my opinion.
