What older [1yr+] currently airing animes have you given up trying to follow?

-Naruto: Shippuuden [I love the series... just way too much anime]

-Fairy Tail: Watched like 2 eps, really enjoyed it, but way too much to catch up on x.x

-Bleach: I can, and have, accurately predicted story arcs for that show, nty

I'll give Bleach a shot anyway since a friend recommended it.

Do it

I wont ruin it for you like I did my friend

he was a huge fan, and one day, after watching a few eps with him I turned to him and said

"I don't know, but I think that

Spoiler
"

My friend, after reading all the manga, sees me a few days later and calls me an asshole because I predicted what was gonna happen

He said that he thought I read ahead in the manga, but that wouldnt be possible because he reads it as soon as its translated by fans >.>

I've not even bothered trying Bleach or One Piece. They're too long, and the majority of their fans are deranged, psychotic douchebags. Naruto I may try eventually, but I generally don't like long series'. I often get bored going through series' around 50 eps, so I don't think I'd survive one with 400+.

i tried out bleach, one piece, and naruto at one point or another. SOOOOOOOOOO much filler crap though. shit i would prefer they put a show on hiatus than pump out 100 filler episodes in a row.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Filler is what kills most shows for me

LETS SEE WHAT THIS SIDE CHARACTER DID TODAY!"

Pokemon!

Omg, after the Johto arc I just couldn't keep up anymore. I also didn't like May. If they brought back Misty as a main character I might try watching again :P There are so many new Pokemon too. I liked it when there was only 151 x.x

Naruto is another one. So much filler and just...ugh.

I can't say that I've really given Bleach a fair chance yet, but from what little I've seen it's a bore.

The horrible thing about Naruto is they try to make the filler episodes exciting

never works >.>

Gotta say Naruto too man... Its been months since I last read a chapter or watched an episode. I'll probably get to it this summer if I have some spare time.

Indeed

I liked 2 more, because the fighting system was geared more towards skill

In generations, they made substitute jutsu uber limited... and it's own button. Which makes the game alot more noob friendly, while pissing off anyone who played Storm/Storm2

but they added alot more characters, so I guess its a tradeoff :\

I have seen a few episodes of Bleach but never really followed it much after that. Naruto I started watching it and I liked it but I never kept up with. When I was younger and watched more of the lengthy anime that aired on Toonami. Now I mainly watched anime that are not too lengthy usually the longest about 28 episodes. If I had more time on my hands I would defiantly watch the longer ones.
