For my I just picked up three books the other day.

Lost at Sea by Brian Lee O'Malley (Already finished it)

How to Ruin Everything by George Watsky

and Ready Player One by Ernest Cline (Half way through)

As of this I have finished O'Malley's entire library of works and need some suggestions as well if anyone has any!

Still searching for that something.

Nailed it, Elfie.

I've been meaning to pick some sci-fi back up, or some graphic novels.

I read all three of that series. . . .you'll have to let me know how you like it once you're finished, but I was underwhelmed after it was over. The idea of it was so much better than the execution mayhaps? It was the same way I felt after I finished the Pullman series (HIs Dark Materials). Excellent ideas, just not put together in the optimal way.

I've finally decided to go and read through all the Discworld books. I've read a few, but haven't gotten very far in the series before. I reread The Colour of Magic last friday for Terry Pratchett's birthday, and am moving forward with the rest of them now. Has anyone else ever read them?

Terry Pratchett was a way of life in my house. Read any and all.

Monstrous Regiment will always be my favorite.

The discworld stuff is somewhere near next on my list of endeavours.

I'm reading Endsinger right now, which is the third in a trilogy by Jay Kristoff.

It's a feudal Japanese steampunk adventure with airships, telekinesis, and a girl who rides a goddamn griffon.

I highly recommend all three in the series to anyone who likes reading.

After Endsinger I have three or four random books to get through before I dive in to the intensely expansive Discworld.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

agh!!!!! people who read.. .and people who read good stuff. . ..do you know how many times at work someone's like, "i read so much. I just finished the 50 shades of gray series. . .and now i'm going to go re-read twilight?" it makes me want to smack them. . . and take away their library cards. :) the japanese steam punk series sounds AMAZING. . .and if i could ride a fictional animal. . it would be a goddamn griffon. :P

have you guys read "good omens" the book sir terry wrote with neil gaiman? it's one of my all time favorite books. it was the first pratchett book i wrote, i was already an uber fan of gaimans
