You mean the Wilderness? I go there on occasion for various things but I don't go there often.
I hit combat level 113 and 70 Prayer though, so that's neat.

Good lord I haven't put any time into runescape in at least 3 years, I came back for a little bit when they released oldschool runescape (that 2007/2008 server)
I used to play it obsessively when I was younger. thousands of hours, countless accounts...

Yes. The Wilderness. I have yet to find anything of use there. You mean the Wilderness? I go there on occasion for various things but I don't go there often.

I have finally acquired a 99 cape, and it was really fucking expensive.

I've never actually played Runescape.
So honestly, no bullshit, am I missing anything special?

Ummm, yes and no. The game has a lot to offer, but it also requires a lot of time to achieve your goals. But the feeling of achievement you get from the game is very satisfying. It's a very fun 'Afk' game though with lots of things to achieve, so it's nice for me to have in the background while I do other stuff.
For me it's more of a game I've always played since I was a little kid, so I have more personal connections to it than just 'Hey this game is fun, come try it for a month like me.'

I used to play Rune Escape!
just completed all the free quests, then got bored and quit for good. I really enjoyed it, and it was hilarious seeing people around crafting things in huge quantities

That sounds like a fair assessment.
I may end up playing around with it at some point in the future just to see what's up for myself.
