There were some nails that came out of my shelf. What is your opinion? Should I try to fix it or buy another one?

Always try to fix a minor break before replacing any whole unit.
Throwing a few nails or screws in the shelf if a pretty easy thing to do.
And if you fail at fixing it all it costs you is your time, then you are back where you started and can get something new.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

This is usually when I break out the duct tape and sledgehammer and get to work. I usually try to fix stuff if I can before replacing it.

I normally try fixing stuff as well. I'm not very good at it though.. that's when i get my dad to fix it
