I find that more and more I'm having to sign electronic documents here, and my pudgy short fingers are not doing the job well.

I don't want one of the rounded q-tip esque styluses, but one with a fine tip to try to fix this issue I continue to have.

Are there any?

They actually make pens that have rubber stylus stuff on the end.

Yeah, but the ballpoint comes through the stylus nib.

I'm looking for one where the nib IS the ballpoint.

Thank you tho.

Maybe you're writing too hard. :P

Still, amazon has the answers. http://www.amazon.co...keywords=stylus

No, I just can't sign with my damn phalanges.

That's just a nib too.

It's ok, I thought maybe someone might know.

I'll look for one.

Thanks tho.

Like this.

I just don't like to navigate too much when at work, so I didn't want to spend a huge chunk of time looking for it.

I posted the link in case anyone else needed one.

You could try a graphic tablet (like Wacom). They're meant for art but I've used it to make a digital signature I use for documents as well.

Yeah, my daughter has one.

I just need the pen, but you're absolutely right, their pens would be just perfect.

Didn't even think of that!

I can pick one up at Best Buy too, I'm sure.

Thanks!

Ooo I didn't know they even made those

I thought they all had the little rubber nibs

but yeah, stylus pens should work fine, just make sure you don't need one that's battery-powered [some tablet-stylus combos have a batter in the pen, some don't. idk why]

Huh, weird. Mmk.

Four years later, this thread might actually be super helpful. I just inherited a tablet and want to get into digital art. So, thanks, Past Flippy!

Seeing some of these old users makes me wonder what they are up to these days and why they haven't returned to the forums yet.

I wonder what they're up to from time to time as well.

Life has busied me quite a few times to the point of having no time to pop on here and see what people are up to.

I'm guessing the same has happened to most of these guys, or they just moved on and don't bother with forums anymore.

I get it, adult life requires more time and energy than we expect.

It can also be super-awkward returning to a place you used to frequent. A mix of guilt and shame and fear of being judged. It isn't that way for everyone, but I see so many posts that talk about that on tumblr... Virtual social anxiety is real.

That's why I never went back to my favorite forum. And then when I tried, it was too late. They were gone.

That makes enough sense.

I guess I never felt awkward going back to places that made me feel welcome in the past.

That's a rough way to lose something you love, and it probably explains why you put so much effort into this place.

Yeah, basically. It's why it breaks my heart that Gol's never coming back. I will probably never see him again and that sucks.

I am grateful for friends that are here, though. <3

I feel that weirdness sometimes.

It's kind of a hard thing to describe too, missing people you've never fully met but still mean something to you.

There's an investment there and it feels like anxious shit when that investment is suddenly gone and never coming back.

It feels like a childhood friend moving away and a part of you goes with them.

But it is what it is.

I'm happy to have the friends that are still here.

Funny thing I'd notice this thread. A couple weeks ago my completely dead wacom tablet randomly came back to life after being dead for a year. Now I kind of feel bad for using it as a cutting/sitting surface so I don't scratch my desk.

You were using your Wacom tablet as a cutting board?  :D

Yes, among other things. It stopped working/shorted out so I just used it as a surface so I don't scratch the shit out of my tempered glass desk. Luckily all the scratches and scuffs aren't throwing off the accuracy at all so I can still use it.
