Canadian Minnesota

The people who live there are already pretty close behaviourally to us so the integration wouldn't take long.

Being from Minnesota that would be totally awkward. I mean, yeah, we are already pretty close to Canada not only in location, hospitality, but also our love for Hockey. I'm not a fan myself but you'd be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't love the Wild.

I, however, live on a border city. Half our workforce comes from Wisconsin. We have 'border battles' and in football season you have to delete your Facebook or suffer through 10, 000 status updates putting down the Packers, or Vikings - taunting, bragging, shame, etc. and if we were considered a different country that would only escalate things. Make it far more annoying. Unless, of course, you got rid of the Vikings and I'd totally be okay with that. IDK about having a Canadian football though. But more to the point, we have a sort of culture here that would take a turn for the worse.

Still, I'd give being Canadian a shot. High five to my brothers to the north!

Becoming Canadian would most likely make the sports rivalry even worse.

We are generally a polite people, but Canadians that are in to sports tend to be super in to them.

Hockey and foot ball are definitely the top two here.

Baseball is a close third.
