Hey everyone! I am posting with the hope that all of you check out my podcast called The SpaZcast. We are an up and coming podcast where we discuss all things "geek culture." We have done a few interviews as well with such names as Doug Jones (famous for his role as Abe Sapien in Hellboy and Billy the Zombie from Hocus Pocus) and Barbara Dunkelman (From Roosterteeth).

You can check out these interviews and whole lot more on our Youtube and Itunes channels! And don't forget to subscribe!

Thanks everyone and don't forget to SPREAD THE WORD TO YOUR FOLLOW NERD!

It always weirded me out how people used the word 'spaz' so casually in America while I was there; here it'd be like calling someone a cunt.

Threads merged, because we really don't need three separate threads about your goddamn podcast. Please refrain from spamming in the future, or posting privileges can and will be revoked.

Huh. Interesting. I didn't know this. I always thought it was a lame 80's term that just wouldn't die. Yeah, I could call a congressman a spaz to their face and no one would give a shit.

Its an incredibly derogatory term for someone with a disability here. If you called an downs syndrome guy a spaz/ spastic it would be really quite nasty.

There is a similar word in German (Swissgerman?) which means the same but also sounds almost the same. So For me it's a really rude word as well...
