GUYLINER REPRESSENT!!!!!!

Captain-America-2-Sebastian-Stan-Winter-

So I went to see it with my brother. I thought it was pretty good.

I liked it better than the 1st one, thought it was slightly better than Thor 2.

I didn't know who the Falcon guy was prior to seeing this film....... But he was ok.

The best character was The Winter Soldier, I thought his outfit looked lame on the poster but damn he was a beast. Mofo kicked ass boy!!!!

Is it me or is Scarlett Johanansson looking a little bit "old" in this film.....?

I'd say a 7/10 and I'm being rather generous.

Was a long film because one of my butt cheeks fell asleep.

Watching it in 3D hurt my eyes, I would have preferred normal definition.

ANYWAY, DISCUSS AND SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS!!!!!

I thought it is the best Marvel movie ever, perhaps the best superhero movie ever.

It seems some took the SHIELD plot as a reference to the Bush administration, while others thought it had to do with Obama's drone program (oh, like the movie's directors, so the actual thing it was a allegory for.)

I'll probably see it again in a week or so. It was absolutely amazing.

Captain America remains my favorite Marvel superhero.

I enjoyed Iron-Man 3 more. And I still hold Batman Returns close 2 my heart. lol. But I tell you what, I had low expectations going in and came out pleasantly surprised. Really good action scenes but that Red Skull debacle was a little cheap, maybe I didn't like him because he wasn't Hugo Weaving....? Mind you I've never read any of the Captain America comics before. Actually I thought the Shield situation was a kick at the Nixon Administration with the "corruption within" theme and all.

Iron Man 3 is my second favorite Marvel movie. Batman Returns creeped me the Hell out as a kid. I was like 2 or 3 when it came out on VHS. My most distant memory is a faint memory of watching it.

"Hail Hydra" capped on to any photo of someone whispering to someone else has become a meme over the weekend.

The Winter Soldier was actually a big deal in the comics world (didn't read it but know of it.) It didn't happen until like 2006/2008. A big rule of comics up to that point was "Nobody stays dead, except for Bucky." But it made for a great movie. Arnim Zola was actually a robot in the comics (and he totally copied his mind to that flash drive.) He even made a clone of Hitler robot thing that was so evil (because Hitler) that robot Hitler had the supernatural ability to manipulate fear.

So, after some delay I have finally seen this movie~

Really, though, I am just a sucker for million dollar budget Hollywood movies, so.. it was awesome to me~

There was this one scene in the elevator that just did not sit right, imo.. A conversation between Cap. and Nick.

Never really been a Captain American fan either, but it was entertaining. :)

Just saw this finally.

I actually paused the movie a bit in to look up who played the Winter Soldier cause, damn, and didn't even realize it was Bucky until Cap saw him.

I was like "Oh sheiiit".

It was pretty good, but I love the Captain America movies, so could be biased.

I was also glad to see Emily VanCamp in a big ticket movie as I really enjoy her quite a bit.

Apparently she's returning for the next one too, I'm hoping she gets more screen time.

And as always, Black Widow is great to watch kick ass in that costume.

Upon watching it again on DVD I must say that I really enjoyed it. The 3D glasses really hurt the experience. Yeah that Bucky dude was kick ass. I thought his character on the original film was somewhat.... 'forgettable' but he reinvigorated himself into a formidable foe.

Besides me loves me some Samuel L Negro.

Cant wait for Civil War :)

Loved this one! Captain America is by far one of my favorite Marvel heroes. I just love how he can be both really interesting but still be a decent person.

I'm also looking forward to Civil War, that one looks like it's gonna be good (Even though I hate the comic story arc...).

It's going to be weird without Reed Richards in this movie. Wasn't he like a pivotal character on Iron Mans team? LOL

Cant wait to see how that kid from The Impossible portrays Spidey.

But excited to see Ant Man return. Paul Rudd IS GOD!!!!!

Oh yeah, Reed was a big player on Tony's team IIRC. I'm really hoping this movie doesn't try to copy Civil War point-for-point (which they can't without some of the things the don't have the rights to)

I wonder who will die in this film or will anyone even die? Hmmmm

Personally I hope they go the Secret Wars route and kill everyone :) lol

Or maybe thats best saved for the events of Thor Ragnarok?

Totally geeking out right now :S

As much as I don't want some of these to happen, here's who I think are going to die:

Captain America: From what I heard, Chris Evans' MCU contract is almost up, and there's been foreshadowing that Bucky is going to take over as Captain America.

Baron Zemo: He's in this movie as well, which I feel was a major mistake because this movie seems like it's going to be a clusterfuck. While I appreciate putting one of Captain America's best villains in the movie, I feel like he's not going to make it out alive because most MCU villains die before they get the chance to do anything, and I really want this guy to live so he can put together the Masters of Evil in a later movie.

Crossbones: I feel like this is going to be the one movie where he actually gets to show off what he can do and then he's going to die.

I have the distinct feeling Hawkeye or Widow (or both) might die, but I don't want to say anything concrete.

And here's a list of people I don't think are going to die;

Black Panther: His movie's already been confirmed

Ant-Man: His movie is getting a sequel called "Ant-Man and The Wasp"

Vision: I have the feeling he's getting an important role in Infinity War, what with the Infinity Stone embedded in his head

Spider-Man: Even if his movie wasn't confirmed, there's no way Marvel's going to kill off their biggest cash cow this early.

War Machine: Dude's a part of the Avengers, it'd be a shame to waste him as cannon fodder,

I really hope Thor: Ragnarok doesn't end in a massacre. If Enchantress is in that movie and they kill her off, there's not going to be any words as to how pissed I'll be.

True. But Captain always dies, then somehow comes back in the end lol

True they do kill off a good portion of the villains, but not all. The Leader is still alive, Loki is still there. Red Skull might have been transported as opposed to being disintegrated by the Tessaract.

Crossbones: I feel like this is going to be the one movie where he actually gets to show off what he can do and then he's going to die.

"Hi I'm Crossbones and I'm........ AAARRRGGGHHHHH GOOODDD!!!! I'VE BEEN SHOT!!!!"

I lol'ed because I can actually see that happening.

I'm very interested to see what they do with The Vision seeing that he has an Infinity Stone within his dome. Would be cool if Thanos we're to rip it from his skull. Then Ultron emerge from Vision as a sort of contingency back up plan Ultron enforced during the events of the 2nd Avengers film.

As for Thor 3? I actually hope that Jane foster dies and Sif at least hooks up with Thor.

But even more so BRING ON THE FEMALE THOR!!!!!!!

Yeah, I know Loki's still around. I forgot Leader was still hanging around, and I think Red Skull might be dead for good because if I remember right, Hugo Weaving doesn't want to come back.

Yeah, I can actually see that happening XD, like he's in the movie for about 5 seconds and then he dies, or he just does one important thing and later dies anti-climatically.

It kinda seems like they're trying to have Vision take the place of Adam Warlock (What with him having an Infinity Stone in his head), and yeah, Vision's probably gonna die in Infinity War, as much as I do love Vision (He was my favorite part of Age Of Ultron, bar none). I really do hope they bring back Ultron at some point, I really liked him in Age Of Ultron, I thought he was one of the few MCU villains that wasn't instantly forgettable. I honestly wouldn't mind Jane Foster dying, I don't have a whole lot of attatchment to her. I'm mostly hoping that Sif doesn't die because I really do like that character. Female Thor would be awesome, but you know what else would be awesome?

Beta Ray Bill. They should totally have him in Thor 3 (Or another Thor movie, if there will be one).

Meh to be totally honest Hugo Weaving was totally forgettable in his role. He was cool as Agent Smith, awesome s V, acceptable as Megatron but meh as Skull. lol

I had a really good read on those links you put up. I'm fairly certain that The Inhumans are getting their own film as opposed to a series.

I dug the idea of Agent Carter and the possibility of alternate realities and a retro universe.

And I agree that they need to start venturing off Earth and start exploring space.

Hurry up MCU and introduce Dr. Strange and Adam Warlock, speaking of which I actually wouldn't be surprised if Warlock rocks up to claim the Infinity Gauntlet once Thanos gets his ass kicked. And if I remember correctly The Collector was in possession of his cocoon in Guardians.

According to NZ media Taika Waitit (Famous NZ Director) is in talks to direct Thor 3. If that's the case I'm going to petition for a part in the movie if it is shot here in NZ.

My mate was able to land parts in both Lord of The rings and King Kong as an extra when he himself petitioned back in 2003. :)
