Are there people out there who aren't annoying? Or who, perhaps are actually into the game they're playing instead of being all "I'mma beat you, you fucking stupid-ass game!"?
One day, when I'm rich, I want to do a Let's Play for something that I really love and do voice acting and everything.
This guy doing Sly 2 isn't horrible. He's actually kinda cute and funny sometimes.
There's Game Grumps, Paragon Nova (of UberHaxorsNova,) and plenty of others.
It all depends on the flavor you're going for.
If you want Minecraft, you'd do no better than the Yogscast main channel.
If you want snarky commentary without a real "Let's Play" experience, try NerdCubed.
I prefer Game Grumps and the Yogscast, but I keep tabs on most of the good ones.
Zack Scott (of ZackScottGames) has the best playthrough of The Walking Dead Telltale game around.
One of the members of Game Grumps also is in a BAMF of a band, Ninja Sex Party. Check them out. They're awesome. "Unicorn Wizard" is probably the best song to start with.
"The Curious Taskof economics is to demonstrate to men how little they really know about what they imagine they can design."
I've contemplated doing a Let's Play for those exact same reasons. I can't really stand listening to people do "witty banter" and I only swear at cats, but I've never watched one I really enjoyed...
I had a fun time watching Yogscast play Goat Simulator. I'll probably watch more of them.
I don't really watch many let's plays other than one-shot "let's play this stupid game oh my god this is awful." kind of thing. I like JonTron and PeanutButterGamer for that.
I've been told I should try doing a let's play because I'm amusing to watch playing games. IE; they want me to make a fool of myself because I'm pretty not good at playing games.

They're fantastic. Simon is great. If you like the Yogscast, I suggest checking out Game Grumps or Paragon Nova's LP of Rust.

I would rather go to med school and not get a degree than watch Let's Plays of Minecraft.
The mods in Minecraft are fantastic. The Yogscast are impressive if their ability to make it fun to watch. The MoonQuest mod pack and subsequent LP by them was and is still fantastic (it is ongoing.)

Woah, what the heck? No mention of Two Best Friends Play? Besides Rooster Teeth, they're the only ones that I can stand. They've also got Woolie and Liam playing with them now, who are just as fun. Check out their Brawls, those are some of the funniest.

We're mostly Game Grumps fans around here, if we were to conduct a poll. Which isn't surprising. The online twentysomething nerd community loves the shit out of the Grumps. Most intense fanbase from what I've seen.

Ah. I've honestly never understood the appeal. Some of the video are alright with the original duo, but I don't like the new guy at all. I guess I prefer it when LPers talk about the game they're playing mostly and bring up stories when nothing in the game is worth discussing. They must be doing something right to have so many fans, though!

Danny Sexbang is awesome!

And Grumps... is about getting to know the boys (and Suzy).
Dan ("the new guy") is one of the most lovely forces of positive energy I've ever encountered. He's very sweet and has lots of stories. I used to absolutely hate him until I got to know and understand him.
If you're looking for an LP where the games are at the heart, these aren't your boys. But if you want to go on a road trip of awesomeness with some hilarious and loveable guys, they've got you covered.
Case in point:
They play DreadOut. And by play, I mean start and then spend half an hour running in then opposite direction just to see what happens.
Here we have a fandom-dividing episode. Half of people seemed to think that this was the stupidest, most bullshit episode ever.
Some of us thought it was the funniest. It's exactly like going on a roadtrip with some friends. Just sit back and hang out with Ross, Dan, and Arin as they avoid the scary stuff because they're scared and hey, what's over here?
I think the subreddit should be renamed, "We're Not Here for the Progress."
And if anyone has ten minutes and wants one of the fucking funniest things that has EVER HAPPENED:
Also, I've not yet watched Two Best Friends Play. Got an episode recommendation?
I hate their Machinima stuff since they force gags and such for those videos, but the ones on their Sw1tcher channel are great. They recently played D4 with everyone commenting: https://www.youtube....u4BS4GACqxO0sAk
Now that I'm looking at their playlist section I realize they've been lazy since they don't have all their LPs here. Any David Cage game or Deadly Premonition is a real treat to watch. They're almost done with The Evil Within and it's so funny how much trouble that game has been for them just due to crashing and glitches.
Oh! And here's a quick Brawl video!
I gotta say that I like that their videos are more than ten minutes long and they usually accomplish things in each video. That's another thing that bugged me about Grumps videos.
