Guy wants it to connect to his TV and run CAD/Photoshop/Etc. off of it.

It's got a spiffy i7 4770k in it that may or may not get overclocked, we're going to discuss coolers.

2TB Seagate media drive

240GB Seagate boot SSD.

8 GB of G.Skill Ripjaw memory

It's all powered by a very nice platinum rated Corsair AX760 modular power supply and stuffed into a Corsair Obsidian 250D Mini-ITX case.

We're still discussing what video card he wants, if any, and the possibility of red lighting.

Is there any particular reason you opted for a 240 gb boot ssd?

Maybe I am underestimating the size of some of the programs you are intending to put on the ssd, but it seems a tad excessive and wasteful to me.

Seems like even half that is more than enough.

He wants the full autodesk suit, which takes up quite a bit of space. I went with a 120gb one for my personal computer and I'm constantly having problems with keeping enough empty space on it.

Fair enough. And there is no real downside to going bigger aside from startup cost, which does not appear to be a big issue in this case. Jealous of the i7 >.>

Just price checked it.

Hm that... is not as expensive as I thought it would be. I may set aside some money and get me one >.>

Although what i should really upgrade is my video card...

What sort of video card are you running? The new Maxwell stuff looks nice, but it's not in the high end yet.
