Affray Patchworks Christmas Event

As all of you except the few newer faces know, I am a patchmaster.

This year I have decided to give all of you regular members of Nerd Forum a little present for Christmas.

I managed to find some free time and threw together a patch to signify membership within the ranks of this place.

Here it is:

This will now be our badge of honour in my mind.

What I am going to do is offer this patch, which is exclusive to Nerd Forum members, as well as one $5 or $6 patch that is listed in my shop to any regular members that wish to partake. I made the sticker part and lines green because I like me some green, but I will change that part of the patch to whatever colour you prefer so that each one can be unique, but still represent us as a whole.

All you need to do is send me your mailing address via PM and tell me what patch from my shop and what colour of NF patch you would like and I will send it off as soon as I can. They may not all get to you by Christmas exactly, but with holiday mailing we can only hope for the best.

Obviously I won't use the addresses provided for anything other than mailing you these patches, so rest easy.

Though if anyone ever spots a cheery looking moderately bearded fellow standing outside their house, I found you, and we should hang out.

Newer people need not worry, I am on here enough to know who contributes and who does not.

So even if you have only been here a short time but contribute none the less, you will be included.

What does the 82HD mean?

There is no eight, it just looks that way.

The 2HD means that the disk is double high density I think.

And maybe that it was formatted for an IBM machine.

It has been a long time since I have even touched one of these, so I may be wrong.

On the topic of my Christmas offer, I have sent out patches to two members already, so they should be arriving sometime around Christmas.

Worry not gents, your patches were mailed out yesterday.

It took me a long ass time to get through my actual shop work and get both of your patches done, but they are now on their way.

So they should arrive sometime around a week or so from now.

To answer your question Mr. Wolf, they are not iron on patches.

The process of making them iron on is far too tedious for the mass production that I accompliish, so you will have to affix your patches to stuff that you can get a needle through.
