So part of the team that worked on Terraria is also working on this. It's quite similar to Terraria, except it has a form of story, and is set in space, with the ability to planet-hop for resources, quests, etc. There are 6 races to choose from, each with their own special skills/equipment, male/female, tons of gear, and it's just overall really fun. Anyone else partake?

No, but now I will have to.

Way to add another game to my unending list of things that I need to play.

I want this game. I actually want lots of games. Unfortunately I can't afford any of the games on my long list. Have fun though, it looks like a really awesome game.

I haven't played Risk of Rain. I like the look of it though, so maybe when a sale comes around I'll pick it up.

Starbound is really good imo. You can definitely feel the Terraria styling of it, but to have a (semi) coherent story makes it even more awesome. Plus being able to dress up is always a bonus for me.

I also LOVE how hard the devs are working on it. There's lots of bugs, but they're in constant contact with users on their official forums, as well as the Steam discussion page, and they're rolling out updates/bugfixes daily, as well as additional content. It's pretty much the hardest I've ever seen a dev work xD

I actually want this game, but I'll wait until it goes on sale. I've been really disappointed with my indie game purchases lately.

I bought Risk of Rain for $5... [made by the same people btw] and I'm still a little let down.

But it looks fun, sounds fun, let's hope it turns out well.

I bought an indie game for my xbox called Dust, and it is pretty amazing.

I got it for like two dollars and it is easily worth ten.

It is a side scrolling hack and slash with a a sweet hand drawn cartoon style.

Also, everyone is a humanoid animal.

Cat girls and bear men people, cat girls and bear men.

Oh no wonder it reminded me so much of Terraria.

There are a lot of problems with it starting up at the moment. Windows XP and OSX are basically unplayable right now, though they're working on fixing it.

So I found a really good torrent for Starbound and got it. I will be addicted to this game for awhile now. Time to beat it in a week like I did to Terraria.

You can beat Terraria? I though it was just a 2D Minecraft.

You can beat it. Pretty much you can beat it by getting all the awesome rare items and beating all the bosses on hardmode. After that it's just like minecraft where you go around building new buildings and what not.

Where is this torrent you found, I may want to acquire it now.

Then once my laptop is in action again I can play in all the places.

Muchas gracias, hermano sangre.

Sadly my laptop decided to crap out on me before I could wipe it clean and start anew, so I will have to wait a bit before I can partake.

But I am liking the look of this game a little more every time I see it.
