Hello, My name is Thomas, new at the nerd forum. Im a behavioral economics researcher and in my spare time I make my own board games :-) , mostly ones where it helps to have a heightened sense of ´pattern recognition´. Curious to read about the nerd topics on this forum!

cheers,

Thomas

Welcome.

Our topics are many and varied.

So I'm guessing you study the elasticity of demand and shit?

Needless to say The Robstar welcomes you to thy kingdom of eternal madness.

Robstar, from now own, speak in the third person and use middle English whenever you can. I like it.

Thomas, I'll be honest, behavioral economics sounds like the most mind-numbing thing I've ever heard of, and I read textbooks for fun. It sound like you could have cool little tidbits of info, but I feel like the research would make my brain wander about six seconds in. I love anthropology and it seems like the autistic cousin that sits at the kids table during thanksgiving.

Welcome, Thomas. I hope you stick around and introduce us to some of your board games. My sense of pattern recognition is quite beast, and I always go for the four railroads.

That is rather embarassing. I feel my previous lost all potential comedic value.

It's okay, Camera. It took me 3 reads and 1 analysis to understand what you meant, but it's okay.

I was meant to put "post" before "lost" I'm having such a bad day. I reckon it is to do with me stepping on a plug this morning.

I think it gives him a taste of how this place works. Someone starts a benign thread and Wolf will come in and derail it. Like this!
