Doorstop.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

given that there's not much in the way of RAM, memory, or processing, it's not going to be capable of much.

However, you could install a light weight linux OS on it, like Arch, then you've got more possibilities.

set it up for an IP phone controlling PC (so you don't have to rely on your regular use desktop potentially going down.)

if you keep it on a battery backup with the modem, you will still have phone service as well (as long as your modem is still powered, you're good to go for internet.)

this would be ideal if it had an ethernet slot, However given it has Wireless b/g, you're not going to do much in the way of wireless stuff with it.

Hell, you could heven set it up to control robotics if you really wanted.

Hardwire a touchscreen in, and use it as a homebrew Android/Linux based GPS unit for your car, or rig it up to your house with a fancy GUI to control all your lights from one room (when going to bed, press to turn off each light.)
