GREETINGS ALL

I've decided to create this thread in the hopes of establishing a bit of a musical community on this forum site. Since I am a nerdcore artist this thread is relevant because nerdcore primarily IS a D.I.Y type of genre.

I write my own lyrics, I make my own beats and I record myself in the comfort of my own bedroom

I really love sampling music from video games like Final Fantasy X, Dragon Quest, Donkey Kong Country and a variety of other inspirational video games.

Instead of rapping about bitches and hoes I tend to cover more introspective topics such as video games, movies, comics and other nerdy stuff relevant in my life

My biggest musical inspiration in terms of nerdcore comes from the likes of a talented man by the name of Attack Slug (Here is a link to one of his albums - http://attackslug.com/?page_id=3 so give it a listen)

I listen to all types of different music from Hip-Hop to rock, dubstep to opera, pop to indie so long as it sounds good....

You're all welcome to post your ideas for what sort of topics you want me to rap about in the future

If you have a song or mixtape you want me to critique I'm more then willing to offer you my constructive and honest feedback

I'm not that familiar with Nerdcore, no offence to you personally but from what I've heard it's not my cup of tea. I have however, had a moderate amount of experience in rap battling done over chat/forum. Not sure if you're into that sort of thing? I guess that's more to do with bitches 'n hoes really.

I have lightly viewed a fair amount of nerdcore stuff.
Rap is not really my flavour of nerdy though, so it was fairly short lived.

It's kind of funny because I don't really rap anymore, I'm more pop orientated then anything.

TBH Nerdcore is a dying genre, it's kind of past it's prime, but I continue to support the scene and I continue to make nerdy music with my geeky topics... It's my hobby and leisure time

But yes I am into a fair bit of battling, I used to do a lot of that on Facebook last year but sort of lost track because I'm very busy from work lately.... Better yet, simply because there hasn't been a worthy opponent for me in quite sometime....

I've attempted it, then told to stop because I'm white (i'm not kidding) sadly i'm not good at making beats so i can only use other peoples, which is kinda weak, also nerdcore is far from dead my friend, new artists are on the rise all the time. just gotta keep an ear to the ground.

Hahaha That's hilarious because when people hear me they automatically think that I'm white (I'm actually brown) Attack Slug (The guy I linked you to in the other thread) is whiter then Eminem yet I like his music better than 80% of the black rappers lolol I feel ya on the beats aye. It's taken me a good year to learn how to make decent beats, I normally just sample old snes midi's. I've also been told to stop rapping as well, but I don't listen to em, I love making funny music, It's my hobby, yet I persist, and now I got people wanting me to feature on their stuff lol so I mustn't be too bad now Just give it a go bro, have fun, you'll get better in time
