Yes Pup. Me too. But I guess, if you think about it, they could be classified as fantasy? I mean, they aren't necessarily real. So I suppose anything that isn't real falls into that sort of category? Tho, WEREWOLVES are totally real. And ZOMBIES will also arise! AND VAMPIRES? ... well, we all know what happened to those, so theres no need to worry.

I'll admit, Twilight probably ruined everyone's perception of vampires. Someone just needs to make vampires scary again. xD If you've watched Let the Right One In or its American remake, Let Me In, you'll see those movies are doing it right.

I guess all of these could be considered supernatural, a trait which can fall under both horror AND fantasy, so now I'm kinda confused. ._. But fantasy doesn't usually SCARE people, right? That's horror's goal instead lol.

I can't wait for zombies to arise. 8]

Yeah I saw the American remake. Loved it. I enjoy movies like that. I still haven't lost hope in vampires, I'm just sometimes ashamed to admit my liking to them, since everyone has this weird and disgusting idea that they're "sexy" and sparkly. NO.

Well I've heard that vampires have always been perverts. Like they seduce their victims first lol. Idk, could be wrong, I've never really been affiliated with a bunch of vampire shit anyway. :P

Well yeah, thats true. But you know what I mean xD JUST. No Twilight.. I mean, I'm not afraid to admit I've watched every single movie. I have a like/dislike relationship with the series. I just hate the fandom. The fans make me hate myself for watching the damn things.

Horror is generally split into a few subgenres. Gothic horror, supernatural horror, psychological horror, erotic horror (read some of this, it's fuckin' hilarious) sci-fi horror (Alien etc) and Lovecraftian horror (fuck yes). Oh, and dark fantasy, which is generally what zombies etc. fall under. That or supernatural horror.

So yeah, they are fantasy.

If it's not real, and there aren't lasers involved, it's probably fantasy. >.>

Twilight ruined this generation's idea of vampires. I would love to see some real fucking deadly vampires go on a killing spree at a Twi-hard club meeting and then I would laugh and shout "WHERE'S YOUR EDWARD CULLEN NOW, BITCHES?!?!".....I might need professional help...

To be human is to err so...err

Vampires are ruined by Twilight, True Blood and Vampire Diaries. Twilight also have ruined werewolves. I end my message by saying Vampires don't sparkle

I guess they could be classified under a dark fantasy of sorts?

Especially after all these supernatural romance and post apocalyptic movies.

I'm kind of tired of zombies, vampires, and werewolves. I want the trend to die out for a bit so they can be fun again in a few years.

I hate the sparkly vampires because they defy logic.
If you are a vampire, and the only thing stopping you from going out during the day is that you get all shiny, you have officially lost the only significant handicap that vampires have. Why have you not enslaved all humans yet?
Foreshame.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.
