Returning nerd need help!!!

What's going on nerds so like I require some assistance. Little back story I'll keep it short cause who really cares!

Basically I used to be a hardcore MMORPG / MOBA gamer and I have been hardly playing any games at all since 2012 because life got interesting, now I'm retired with a broken back and I need suggestions that can be massive time dumps yet entertaining.

My biggest problem so far is there doesn't seem to be anything interesting outside games I used to play like WOW or LOL or other similar games, it seems like MMORPG are dieing and MOBA while fun lack the social aspect. And I'm at complete loss as to what to play if anything.

I fear death of boredom is a real possibility, I beg for a savior!

I still play WoW.  Quit for about 5 years and came back with the last expansion.  Its quite vanilla now, but easy to loose time in.

Yeah was hoping there may be something better by now apparently not the case hah

FFXIV is a lot of fun, and you can free trial it indefinitely IIRC.
