Alephs are infinite sets in mathematics, and Aleph One is a game engine for Marathon. Also it has something to do with arabic and hebrew that I don't fully understand.

Also, at a second glace I thought maybe it had something to do with the Ph level of beer (ale).
I googled "What is the Ph level of ale" and got this gem as the first hit:

Yes it is the first letter of quite a lot alphabets...and it's actually the crasis of both my name and surname. Kind of.
