Just finished re-reading the Inheritance Cycle and I had forgotten just how dissatisfied that ending always leaves me. How do you guys feel about this?

I was so disappointed with the ending. There's so many unanswered questions. It also didn't help that he said in the authors note (or somewhere, it's been awhile since I've read the books) that he plan on writing more for the series but he just doesn't know when. Why would he do that to us??

I think the biggest mystery that bugs me is who is Angela exactly. We really never found out that much about her.

I loved that series so much until the ending. I always feel dissatisfied, Eragon and Arya don't end up together, Murtagh and Nasuada don't end up together, he leaves Algaesia and no one follows him. What the hell? Is Roran the only hope for romance in that series? I think so. What happened?! And if he writes a sequel about Eragon's son or daughter their mother will be some bullcrap, secondhand human created to patch in the hole Arya left in our hearts(as if she ever could) Screw you and your Steakhouse Christopher Paolini!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did he just want to screw with us?

You know I'm going to retract my earlier statements. I reread it again, and I love the ending now. It's dissatisfying and disappointing, but it

s real. Sometimes reality sucks, but the truth doesn't need to be comforting, and often isn't.
