What do you think of cheerleaders? Are they the snobby dumb sluts pop culture make them out to be? Should cheerleading be considered a sport? Have you ever met an intelligent cheerleader? Did the cheerleaders you knew get fat after High School?

If they are going to gain weight is it worth it to go after the cheerleader types?

Not much. Not all of them. It is, they hold competitions. I was one, I'd like to think I'm of ok smarts with brains. Yes, but that can be said of people I knew from every clique/sport/team. There's always a few people that let themselves go.

Is this like a fetish thing?

First of all you only gain weight if you stop maintaining your body. Energy in vs energy out, basic physics.

With that out of the way, I'm agreeing with flippy. This seems like it's a fetish thing.

Not a fetish I follow, and just like any sport or group not all of them are stereotypes, even if stereotypes exist for a reason.

Tell me all the /naughty/ things the cheerleaders said to you

Were they snobby? God tell me they were snobby

Can you hold these pom-poms and say mean things to me?

Most Australian schools don't have cheerleaders.

It only becomes a thing for actual sporting events, it is a real job, which you get paid for, but they're not paid attention to much.

Because I can...

I ran into an ex-girlfriend of my older brother a few years ago. Before they broke up, she was a dancer at some dance business in Dollywood. He took far, FAR too much joy in the fact she was chubbers after the breakup.

I assume you're the type who uses Facebook to stalk the mean old cheerleaders who ignored you back in high school and can only imagine the giddy look on your face matched my brother's as you scroll through their tubby tagged photos. #stuffingmahfaceatolivegarden #bbwpudding #realcurvesrealwomen

I don't understand that logic "Ha, I may have not done anything with my life since high school, I'm a total shut in and loser who can't let go of grudges but at least she got fat!"

Oh the horror, she's less attractive in a world that only values women based on how attractive they are, but at least she's probably happy and not facebook stalking her exs to feel better about herself.

We don't have cheerleading teams where I'm from, I've never seen one. That being said I kind of liked gymnastics after I left high school and wished I had done some. I think it'd be cool to be able to do, it takes a lot of work, and trust in gravity which I don't have.

Pretty much. I've known some pretty alright cheerleaders. Also, "If they are going to gain weight is it worth it to go after the cheerleader types?" sounds ridiculously shallow, just sayin'.

These girls are part of a dance troupe at an wealthy elite LA private school.

These girls are on a cheerleading squad at a middle class High School.

imageedit_1_8377314452_zpstbgwv1se.jpg

The cheerleaders are a little thicker. Is it because the dancers are from rich families and can afford healthy organic food?

Would the cheerleaders be like the dancers in the top photo if they stopped eating processed crap and start eating organic food without hormones, antibiotics, and pesticides?

I had things to say...

But not a one of them can properly portray the sheer amount of "WHAT" I'm feeling right now.

I'd say something about how this is a stupid thing to say...

But I don't feel like being a broken record today.
