I'm excited at the prospect that Pluto had, or even still has, plate tectonics. Also a potential sublimated atmosphere. Eeeek

Titan's atmosphere looks so awesome. We need to go there and find methane loving fish people.

Scientists have said they're enormous ice structures, at Pluto's temperatures, ice has enough strength to pile up over 3km high. <.<

I realize it's far too cold to have life. Still, I think at one time maybe it was closer to the sun. Forget life on Mars. Imagine if there was once life on Pluto.

The idea that Pluto was closer to the sun at one point isn't impossible, but that would have been very close to the early formation of the solar system. As unlikely as it is that Pluto had, or does still have life, it's not impossible. It's effectively a very icy planet and recent tectonic activity visible across the surface gives way to the potential that there's an ocean of slush or liquid water deep within the core of the planet. Nevertheless, Enceladus is where it's at for life...or Triton....or Titan.

There are significant gaps in our understanding of the chemistry of Enceladus’ ocean. Scientists developed a theoretical model of chemical equilibrium between water and chondritic rock, and predicted the pH and concentrations of major chemical species in the ocean; however, this was developed before the chemistry of the plume was characterized in detail, so it could not be constrained by observational data. They used Cassini CDA and INMS data to develop the (observationally constrained) model of the chemical composition of Enceladus’ ocean. Then they took a theoretical approach in an attempt to explain the derived composition in terms of simple geochemical equilibria. Pluto is a much more interesting topic though because it's a dwarf planet. Not a moon. I could go on and on about Pluto too.

Exoplanets are something very interesting, indeed.Too bad the speed of light limits us a lot.

Since general relativity teaches that nothing can break the speed of light.

But*Pluto is the nearest of them so it makes a perfect starting point (or to be more correct, it had already made one)
