She wrote the book that was made into a movie with Annie Hathaway. Princess Diaries? I'm pretty sure that was her. I have heard she does a shitload of charity work, so I have nothing bad to say about her without knowing anything about her aside from those two facts.

I've read some of her stuff when I was in middle school. I especially liked her Spy Academy books.
