Everyones favourite Sandbox game is now available in version 1.1 and still going strong, I actually bought the game in the middle of 2010 when it was still in Alpha and pretty basic, but it was totally worth to see how this game evolved and developed. I think Minecraft was the first game where the player (consumer, customer, whatever you like to call us) was so close to the development process that you could see things changing, decisions being made, things put into the game and others being scrapped... It sure was an interesting ride and I thank Notch, Jeb and whole Mojang Software for the experience.

I am very curious what they will put out next, I guess Cobalt is their next big thing but I am more interested in the trading card game "Scrolls" to be honest. But I doubt they can ever again make something as big and original like Minecraft.

I just recently bought it, because I have asperger's and wanted to be like all the rest of them.

It's true, we all love it, we ALL LOVE IT.

MINECRAFT IS BUILDING BLOCKS FOR AUTISTIC ADULTS.

I spent all night learning the finer points of redstone circuitry for the sole intention of rigging traps and blowing stuff up. Also maybe a roller coaster. Which will inevitably lead into an explosive death trap.

Minecraft is for everyone. ;)

I never could get behind the redstone stuff apart of rebuilding simple circuits, not meaning I necessarily understand them lol.

Minecraft is nifty and fun for a bit, but I got tired of it pretty fast. I've seen some people do some pretty amazing stuff with it, but I could never dedicate that amount of time.

Redstone circuits made me learn about real circuits.

Then decide to build a robot.

Anyway... join our SMP server xD

You don't have to be high on the autism spectrum to enjoy Minecraft, tho.
I actually love to start new worlds once in a while and go nomadic on hard mode with permadeath. Never sleep in the same place twice. Makes the game pretty interesting.
I don't think he needs to be immortal. I think all he needs to do is to write the right story. Because some stories do live forever.

Nope, but a touch of the asperger's helps to get things going ;)

I would say I wish SMP had a hardcore mode, but that wouldn't really make sense, everybody would have to die before you could respawn or something.

Oh well, I'll keep my badass manly adventuring to single player... SMP can be a cavas for things I don't want deleted :P

The thing that minecraft users dont see, that you dont really have to pay for it. I got 700 minecraft accounts - premium of course, And i dont even play minecraft. gave it to my friend.
I dont like minecraft, casual game, classic game, its good at first, but it gets boring. I like dominating. I played it a few days and got bored.
