I have way to many games that I enjoy to slap three of them in to my top three slots with such finality, but here are three fairly constant favourites:

Majora's Mask? Really? That is not a popular favorite. Why do you like it so much?

Honestly I don't know why I like it so much. It is just one of those games that I can play over and over again and not get bored with it. And it is also the first one that I beat completely on my own with no help so maybe that's why it holds a special place lol

...Mass Effect, Harvest Moon 64, Red Dead Redemption, Silent Hill and Tales of Vesperia would all be sad...

And it is also the first one that I beat completely on my own with no help so maybe that's why it holds a special place lol

I like how that's a Thing with Zelda games. A Link to the Past was my first and it's quite special to me.

Best video game series ever. Played all of the ones in my top 10, except Skyward Sword, probably five times at least each.

Skyward Sword did things differently by making the game much harder all around compared to the other four, but it was also purely cathartic because of the Wii Motion Plus action of flying and swinging the sword.  That puts it above Majora's Mask and The Wind Waker in my mind for those reasons.

It's worth the playthrough. And it's probably less than $10 on Steam. I also highly recommend the original Painkiller. If you need some convincing, check out this review of it:
