As a huge fan of messenger bags I say #2. Number one is my second choice.

Though the ones you are looking at seem a fair bit sturdier.

My Chewy bag broke in a few places and I had to sew it back together, which made is stronger overall so I am fine with it.

But a sturdier bag to begin with is a better choice.

Where are you going to buy your bag from?

I may be in the market of getting one myself.
