Oooh, I've heard of this theory! I love stuff like this. I am embarrassed how excited I get about them.

I won't lie, I thought it was pretty awesome and I'm not a super fan or anything.

I too have heard this before.

Pretty damn convincing.

I also like the theory that the original trilogy Obi-Wan is a clone of the original Obi-Wan, whom was killed during the clone wars.

In which he was cloned for use as the Jedi Council's attempted cloned Jedi army.

That is why he doesn't remember R2 or anything.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Maybe it's just your description, but that theory has some problems. Namely, the clone wars kinda ended after the plot of Revenge of the Sith; Obi-Wan is clearly alive at the end, which means in order for that theory to be accurate he would've have to had died between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, and Obi-Wan clearly recognizes R2 in episode 3.

It is definitely my phrasing.

If I find the actual thing I found on it I will post it.

It makes more sense than my half-assed rememberance.
