Your illogical approach to chess does have its advantages on occasion, Captain. - Spock in 'Charlie X'

Do you mean the original Gameboy?
If so.... then no.
DS and 3DS have memory cards and that's how you can store data on there.....

CPU: Custom 8-bit Sharp LR35902 core at 4.19 MHz. This processor is similar to an Intel 8080 in that none of the registers introduced in the Z80 are present. However, some of the Z80's instruction set enhancements over the stock 8080, particularly bit manipulation, are present. Still other instructions are unique to this particular flavor of Z80 CPU. The core also contains integrated sound generation.

this is..... an interesting question.
Why would you want to? For novelty? Even then, how did this idea come across your mind?
Also, I don't think that the game boy has any on board memory. I'm pretty sure that save files are stored directly to the cartridge.

I don't think the original gameboy or gameboy color even have storage, all of the memory for games is stored on batteries in the cartridges.
The Advanced might. If I remember correctly it has a BIOS, so it must have some kind of interface system that needs storing.
Even if it does it is likely really small.
