I've lived a sheltered life, so I don't think I'd see one.

I have never seen anyone die, so unfortunately I would not see them.

Nope, I wouldn't.

There'd be a select few people who would be able to.

Because I can...

I'm not quite sure but probably not...

This topic is pretty depressing.  Even for Nerd Forum.

You've never seen a gif of a motorcycle accident or someone being executed on the internet before?

Probably best it stays that way.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that I am in to anything along those lines.

More like from time to time I somehow find myself roaming over to the dark side of the internet and before I know it I am watching videos of people being burned alive, or beheaded, or axe murdered.

I wouldn't be able to see one. I don't think I want to either because that would mean watching someone die which isn't to exciting.

It is absolutely not exciting.

It is however good for making your heartbeat smack your ribs with wreckless abandon.

I would suggest everyone watch at least one video involving serious maim/death.

If you react to it, you then know you aren't a sociopath, and so would we.

I can't even handle flu shots... So I know I would pass out at the sight of someone being maimed or murdered.

Oh wow. Apparently I might be able to see one after all. According to my mother we all watched my grandfather take his last breathe in 1991. I was just a little tod so I don't remember anything.

In theory, it only works if you are cognizant to process what you've seen, so, tough call.

Also, it was nice of you to not point out that I suck at reading thread titles.

No, I can not in fact see one.

Yes, i would be able. First person I saw die was my great grandmother. Alzheimer's got her. We knew her time was near and suspected she would not last the day, so we had a family reunion to see her off. Myself, my mother, my great aunt, and a cousin were in the room when she passed.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.
