Originally a game, it's a horror anime with only 4 episodes. It'll be the most traumatic, gut-twisting and overall disturbing Anime of the horror genre you'll possibly ever see.

That's why it creates many different opinions, it's not for everyone. The anime is obviously rushed, but the story, horror feeling to it, animation and music are really good for that genre. Anyway, really worth a watch for any gore/horror fan, who prefers stories based on solving a mystery and survival. You've been warned. Proceed only if you don't mind a relentless amount of disturbing imagery.

Let me know what you think! Oh, and don't watch it when your family can walk in the room, or you might just get shipped to a psych ward in a nice white suit.

Oh my God! Someone else in the universe knows what Corpse Party is! Wait... You're talking about the anime and not the visual novel? This upsets me. Play or watch a let's play of the visual novel, man. That game had a big impact on how messed up I am today.

SPOILERS: Don't read on if you don't want the ending ruined.

Just watched all four episodes & I loved it! The very opening scene of Episode 2 is my favorite hands down. I got concerned as Episode 4 was ending - as I'm not a fan of sappy endings to horror anythings - but the very last "Sad Reality" scene was awesome!

Can I ask: What was the tube Naomi gave Seiko for?

Oh yeah I'm planning to play it through on PSP, if only I find a translated version of it. Thanks for the encouragement, I'll be sure to try it out soon.

Glad you enjoyed it, could you elaborate on that tube thing? I can't really remember anything like that.

Again MORE SPOILERS ahead, don't say you weren't warned

In Episode 1 Naomi wakes up after the "incident" and soon enough finds Seiko. Seiko sticks her face in Naomi's ample bosom and goes on about wanting alone time with Naomi.

Naomi is kinda like "Don't you think we should get out of here first?" They end up by a bathroom & Seiko asks "Do you have something for my butt?" and Naomi hands her a small white tube with some red lettering. Later on, after they get separated, Naomi finds the tube lying by itself in the hallway & concludes Seiko had been there earlier.

Seiko was being really freaky & frisky with Naomi when she asked for the "Something for my butt?" so I figured the tube was going to be related to the two of them junk-bumping. But then Seiko went into the bathroom alone while Naomi waited in the hall & I've been clueless since.

I haven't scene the anime (I'm not really sure if I will; it will just be the visual novel, but shorter and in a medium I don't really like), but in the game, it was constipation medicine.

Hrmmm  :<_<:  Not quite the answer I was hoping for, but I half-way expected that. It certainly makes sense in the anime context.

Thanks!
