i also want to note for anyone unfamiliar, this is a fan update of Half Life. it's free and only requires Source SDK Base 2007, which is free from Steam (you'll find it under tools in your library).

sounds like a standard tales game. i'm familiar with the title system, but the crafting one seems new. seems more involved than just cooking items. all in all, seems interesting. sadly, i don't own either system it's on. guess i can go dust off my GBA copy of Phantasia, though.

i hate my internet connection. besides the at least five hours for the sdk, the torrent alone will be seven. had to pause the torrent cause wow at 1200+ms isn't fun. hopefully it'll be done tomorrow.
