#70463 Interesting personality test

Posted by jmrobbinswrites on 10 May 2014 - 08:23 PM in Everything Else

I took it and got INFP type. That means I'm weak to Fire and Bug attacks, but resist Steel and Water... Maybe?
:P
At any rate, I loved this test. I am trying so hard to understand why I struggle, what I excel at, what kinds of people I need in my life, and this test really does give me a clearer understanding and I feel like I make sense now... to someone anyway. I didn't realize that there's a whole group of people who understand me, as well as seeing there's a whole group of people that would actually PREFER to be around someone like myself.
This post is a little jumbled in thought, but I just feel like I should say that I enjoyed this test and hope I can use it as a guide to improve my situation in some manner. :D

I'm still overwhelmed at the sheer immensity of the topics to join in on. This is so awesome (Bronies can get a kick out of my unintentional quoting of Rainbow Dash) and I just want to say I don't know how I will ever keep up with all that's happening on this forum.

#70408 Mentlegen, I give you... the man-taur

That is a wonderful wonderful amazing beast. I laughed anyway... at its... sheer manningness? I'm leaving now... to find a real one.

Thank you, Delectable Treat Kitten! :D I'm thrilled to be here. So many conversations to enjoy... but not enough time. So I'm all over the place on the forum, just saying stuff.

#70398 Awkward Confessions

Posted by jmrobbinswrites on 09 May 2014 - 09:02 AM in Everything Else

Oh these are fun. Where do I begin?
At a very young age, I used to think the cartilage in my nose was a Lucky Charm marshmallow that got stuck up there... for some reason.
When I was 4, I had a crush on Red Fraggle.
In 2nd grade, there was this bully a grade above me, and one morning I felt some nausea coming on, so I walked over to him and puked on his face on purpose.
I got my first kiss at 19.
There was a girl I liked in elementary school who saw me at the grocery store, and I hid in the bottom basket of the cart... of course she saw me down there hiding from her.

So there are a few awkward confessions, but I have decades of the things, so more will surely arise when appropriate.

#70396 What is your favourite anime when you are a kid?

Posted by jmrobbinswrites on 09 May 2014 - 08:20 AM in Anime

As a kid, I was obsessed with Sailor Moon and Ranma 1/2. I still have almost all the Sailor Moon episodes fansubbed on VHS... because when I was a kid... that's how they came. :P

#70395 Your Top Three of All Time

Posted by jmrobbinswrites on 09 May 2014 - 08:16 AM in Video Games

Oh jeez!!!! 3 games? That's it!!!????
Okay. Let me figure this out... perhaps based on how often I play them and how much fun they are to play while I repeatedly play them. Hmmm...

NES: Legend of Zelda (Just played and beat it again in 2 hours. Fun stuff.)
PS2: Dragon Quest VIII

NES: Mega Man 3

DISCLAIMER: There was about a 150 game tie for the top 3 spots, so these are the three I'm mentioning. SOOOO Close to putting Final Fantasy 1 on there because I just went back through and beat it with four fighters. I like to challenge myself. I tried with 4 white mages, but the bosses revisited battles were taking over 8 hours and I didn't have that kind of time to screw around in the Temple of Fiends. I can only imagine the 40 hours it would've taken to beat Chaos had I got to him. :D

Also, a note about Mega Man games. I typically select robot masters in random order to increase the difficulty and strategies for added fun and replay value. ^_^

That's EXACTLY what I was hoping to hear. Browsing through the forum, I realize that this is definitely where I need to be. I can't wait to get the chance to know everyone on here... not that I'd ever be able to know EVERYONE on here... but fallacies are fun and artistic, so I use them anyway.
I'm writing a nerdy romantic comedy because I have yet to find a book with characters that really speak to what I went through in high school, and know that nerds need a sincere voice in all forms of media. I look around in this forum and am like, "Yep. That person has a Fairy Tail avatar. That's in my book..." That sort of thing. So I really am excited to have found this forum.
Who knew that all I had to do was google "Nerd Forums" to find this. YAY!!!!

Hi,

My name's Jason and I'm looking to meet some more nerdy people. This certainly looks like the place to do that. My current project is to revise my Young Adult Romantic Comedy about nerds. :D How fitting, right?

Thanks for stopping by the introduction thread. It's nice to meet you... in advance.
