This is awesome! Wish he would've done a few more songs but it was still fantastic.

#85308 PACKERS WON!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by ageekygirllikeme on 16 January 2015 - 02:13 AM

My dad lived in Wisconsin for part of his childhood.  The very season I started watching football, the Packers won the Superbowl.  Turned me into a fan for life.

Now, hopefully, Aaron Rodgers' fucked up leg won't get them destroyed in Seattle.  If he can't stand up, the team is fucked.

Seattle has a really good defense but he's been doing pretty well. All the articles I've read about his leg so far says he isn't concerned and either is the rest of the team. I'm sure he'll still lack a great deal of mobility but he's very determined to do his best on Sunday. If he plays this game like he did in the second half of the Dallas game I won't be too worried.

#84421 Live Music

Posted by ageekygirllikeme on 07 January 2015 - 09:07 AM

I've been to quite a few concerts, probably more than I can remember. I've seen Motley Crue, Falling In Reverse, Pierce the Veil, Panic! at the Disco, Sleeping With Sirens, The Pretty Reckless and a heck of a lot more. My favorite show that I've probably ever been to though was Fall Out Boy during their 2013 comeback tour. They have been one of my favorite bands since I was 13. So glad I was able to cross that one off my bucket list.

#84416 Welcome!

Posted by ageekygirllikeme on 07 January 2015 - 08:29 AM

Hello, I joined up because I'm bored, and because I fit the nerd stereotype.

Hope that I can learn something here, or at the least be entertained while killing my boredom.

I work as an AV Tech, I'm starting the second year of my IT degree, I'm a guitarist, and although I suck at them I play video games too (PS3, PS4, Steam/PC).

I really like coffee, music, Jagermeister - am moderately interested in art and photography, computers and technology are an interest too I suppose.

I'm Aussie.

Cheers, Tony

Welcome to the forums!

#83021 What do you Collect?

Posted by ageekygirllikeme on 16 December 2014 - 08:16 PM

I like to collect cards. Right now I have a very large collection of Pokemon, about 14 binders worth. I also collect cards for Magic the Gathering, Yugioh, Harry Potter card game and the My Little Pony card game. I also love to collect books, I have a small library in my room. Also have a decent collection of video games which is constantly growing. Those are my big collections, I do have several other small collections of things.

#65370 Favorite Books

I don't think I saw anyone mention these but I would definitely recommend The Inheritance Cycle (the Eragon books). Those besides the Harry Potter books are my favorites.

Also David Clement-Davies is a fantastic author. I've read The Sight, Fell and Firebringer by him and they were amazing. I actually named one of my dogs after a character in The Sight because I loved it so much.

#64537 I need this.

I feel like this is something that the Winchester brothers will one day have if they ever decided to settle down and stop hunting.

#62577 Have you ever seen a ghost?

Posted by ageekygirllikeme on 16 January 2014 - 01:04 AM

eh? Do tell.

The original house that built there burned down and one person died in the fire. All that was left was the fireplace. They rebuilt a house on the same property. Eventually my family moved in there. There would be footsteps going up and down hallways with doors shutting behind the footsteps. We'd come home and all the chairs around the kitchen table would be pushed out. There were times where we'd ask someone to turn on a light and it would just turn on. There was an incident where my mom tried to call someone and when she picked up the phone to dial there was heavy breathing on the line. I had a toy keyboard with a microphone and our dog was growling at it, her hair was standing up, and someone was breathing into the microphone. My grandma had decorative cake pans hanging on the wall and there was a fish one. That one fell off the wall twice in one day, both times hitting my aunt in the head. That same day she got in a really bad car accident at a local festival called sunfish days. When we were starting to move you could hear boxes being moved around and fragile things would end up broken on the ground. I'm sure there's things I'm forgetting but that's off the top of my head. We never actually saw the ghost but there was definitely something there. The house is constantly up for sale. No ones lives there for more than a few years. My family keeps an eye on it.

I haven't played that game in years. It's all packed up and in storage. I would probably play it every now and then if I didn't live in a second floor apartment. I'd hate to disturb the neighbors.
