The Puppet Master

I lived in the same town my whole life in Massachusetts, graduated high-school a year early, and had to move to the state of Florida in 2010 with my parents. Since then, I've made no friends and hardly go anywhere, a very unhealthy lifestyle. With this isolation though, came maturity. Before I left my hometown I was an idealistic teenager who sought to become the leader of America by running as a third-party candidate and I thought that authoritarian quasi-Socialist ideas were a good thing. Now I am a social Liberal and an economic Conservative although I hold myself to Conservative values personally.

I find it difficult to accept our society today, especially with the subject of interpersonal relationships. The institution of the relationship between people and many people's value in themselves has, in general, deteriorated immeasurably. I suppose I have some sort of inferiority complex- as if my holier than thou mindset would give me any solace in life. Since I moved here my life alternates between depression and fleeting happiness.

So you could say the way that I changed between living in my hometown and moving here is the difference between day and night. Now I am fascinated by how opposing points of view can be orchestrated by a single group to create the desired outcome.

I'm also rather lonely.
