Two Words: Random Epicness.

What made the Bioshock games enjoyable, but slow to progress as a big deal, was the gritty landscape that was Rapture. It's creepy enough, but the idea that a Big Daddy can fly really makes someone look up in the sky when a cloud rolls by. The idea that Infinite could be delayed even further makes me think about Fish's Fez and makes me cringe. It's been in development since 2010 came by. Is it true that they'd finished the game, but spent another few years working out the new game mode?! Don't get mad at me if I'm wrong, I was just going off a source.

When I first saw Gassy Mexican (on YouTube) start playing Black Mesa, I started getting more interested in the Half-Life franchise. I already had HL2 from the Orange Box that I got for Christmas, but I only played it on Synergy, a mod that makes Co-Op campaigning possible for free. After I saw this mod in play, I actually got more interested in playing the Single Player campaign of all of the games. What delayed it was the fact that at the time I was still really new to FPSs, and I saw what the original HLS looked like and it looked LIKE CRAP. Now that the visual effects have been refurbished, so to speak, with this mod, I think that I'm ready to try this out. Now off to find a few loose dollars and get me Half-Life Source! Unless there has already been a free-code distributing thing around and I'm too much of a shmuck to see that!

I have unfortunately been unable to play a lot of Skyrim on account of my parents suspending my ability to go on my PC, and giving me a crappy laptop instead. (I'm 15, so me being with my parents, still, should be no surprise) I played about an hour, most of it recorded on my YouTube channel with a crappily edited facecam. That channel has been disbanded, by me. During the time I played it, even though my PC has a standard graphics card, it ran and looked amazing. With the recording software I installed, it ran with almost no lag or FPS drop. And besides that, the game is actually very satisfying. The upgrade system, the open exploration, and the sequential DLCs make me almost drool. But, me having no money, and no PC, makes that but a dream.

The only thing I kinda dislike is the disorganized save files. I wish they'd organized them from manual saves, and then one for autosaves. And besides that, I'm very close to in love with this game, something I've never actually felt towards anything other than Vanquish on PS3 and LoL.

In Topic: Star Trek or Star Wars?

Star Trek because it focused more on the science of that possible universe than the universe being governed by an inner power called The Force, or TK as we'd call it. Personally I like Star Wars because Star Trek is now impossible to keep up with. I'll have to get a Time Machine just to watch them all from the start, instead of using up the rest of my life to watch them all, series after series.
