I would like very much to write a science fiction story basically what's dancing around in my head is a ridiculous mashup of

The Hunger Games and or Battle Royale, Ready Player One
The Warriors, Blade Runner, Rock and Rule, and the elements of the Tabletop game Shadow run

Along with Every Possible 1980s Trope imaginable, I want to kitchen sink this thing.

if anyone wants to know some of the setting and character elements i have in place let me know.

EDIT: did i mention it involves cartoon characters fighting in a battle to the death? to avoid being "Canceled"?

To put this simply, I am a social creature who has a very strange obsession with helping people.

even if we've never crossed paths or spoken once. I will often times go out of my way to listen and try to understand and help solve someone's plight, which is. i think. a common trait among most nerds to do so. due to years of whathaveyou and so forth.

So i thought this would be a nice companion thread to the "Bad Day" one.

if anyone would like to share their thoughts feel free to do so.
