Combo Videos

idk if I'm the only fighting game player here, but I need a thread for combo videos.

Here's one from UNIEL, a Yuzuriha spending 100 meter to make a 1/3 chunk combo

Is a free Overwatch alternative that really is proud of it. some of the characters and mechanics are ganked right from OW, such as:

Pharah. Like the entirety of her

Roadhog, cept he's a turtle now

Reaper and McCree have a demon bastard child

and more!

Decided to try it out cuz a friend was playing and, well, it's free. Nothing to lose there. Tempted to get the founders pack, not because I plan on putting a bunch of time in the game, but because it's really good for what it is:

A free overwatch alternative that does just enough things different to sell some F2P elements.

Evolve stage 2

So, Evolve recently went F2P, and in addition revamped the game mechanics to bring match times down from ~20 minutes to ~10 minutes. Alot of big changes, mechanically and graphically, really help make Evolve feel more modern, and less sluggish than before.

Only drawback is F2P is a safehaven for obnoxious kids. I keep getting bounced from lobby to lobby because either

1: Someone didn't like the role they got

2: Someone didn't like the monster

3: Someone didn't like that there was a newbie on the team [when, realistically, 99% of the new playerbase is newbies]

so my games keep getting disbanded in the lobby, or even right as the match starts [had 2 groups leave the game because "wraith is op"]

So, definitely worth the price tag of free, alot of fun time to be had while playing it. But personally, I recommend waiting until summer break is over, or play in the morning before the kiddos have woken up.

I was excited to try it, I liked smite but felt it was lacking.

Well, paragon definitely adds its own things, but as far as gameplay goes, it feels flat, repetitive, and for a "shooter" there's practically no feedback on hitting enemies aside from seeing a number pop out of them.

Also, it uninstalled itself when I uninstalled Visual Studio Community 2015, along with it's launcher.

Verdict: Wait for F2P, and even then don't have high expectations

Comes out in less than a week, on the 24th.

Personally, I'm super hyped for it. I've been waiting for a good, stylized thinking-mans FPS to come out for a while now, and everything as of late feels like carbon copies [aside from Doom, been enjoying that a fair amount.]

After about 24 hours playing the beta, I'm still super excited for the game. Still excited to see how I can improve, and to get good at various high skill-cap characters *cough* genji

Personally, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys arcadey, team-based shooters. But the beauty of overwatch is, with its variety of characters and playstyles, it can really appeal to anyone.

Enjoy being solo and 1v6ing the opposing team? Try a flanking character like Reaper, Tracer, Roadhog, or D.va

Not so great at shooting, but wanna be a help to the team? Torbjorn, Mercy, and Lucio will make sure you still have a good time.

Want to roleplay as the turret from TF2? Well Bastion's got you covered.

There's something for everyone lol.
