Crystapocalypse

Hello!

I am new to Nerd Forum, and wanted to be part of somewhere that will have all my go to info when it comes to tech, gaming, anime etc. 

My name is Crystal, I am a psychology major, and mother of 2.  My interests include drawing, specializing mainly in water color pencil, or sharpy and charcoal pencil.  I have a major love of video games, music, and anime of all forms.  Some specifics could be Music: In this moment, Falling in Reverse, Atreyu, Bring me the Horizon, Deftones, Muse, System of A Down etc.

Video Games: Fall out, Borderlands, Bioshock, Final Fantasy series

Anime: Naruto, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, and anything by Hayao Miyazaki.

So I have a question.  I've never considered myself to be inept socially or at flirting and usually am able to read someone very well.  I have a classmate who I have developed an interest in lately, and even though we would probably seem to be an odd couple, I find myself drawn to him.  Me being the tattooed, rocker type chick, Psychology major, him the reserved computer science major, I don't know if he just is not interested in me, is unaware of my flirting attempts, or in denial assuming "someone like me" wouldn't be into "someone like him". Any suggestions on how to proceed? I don't want to scare him away by being too forward!
