Yup, that's from the Naked Time episode when they encounter the Psi 2000 virus that lowered/destroyed inhibitions. In an attempt to regain control, Spock started chanting times tables, hence the whole 'sobbing mathematically.'

Gonna make waffles for breakfast. Getting a waffle-maker was one of the best decisions ever (second to buying those commemorative Star Trek plates).

I do a lot of fiction writing and am currently trying to get a sci-fi novel published. Keeping my fingers crossed on that one, but publishing is a long and stressful business.
