I was given an old dell dimension 2400 by a family member and it turns out it has a virus (didnt see THAT one coming...)
and it has locked me out and I cant get pass the startup password.
any help would be great.

I'm trying to install linux mint onto my windows vista 32bit desktop and I used unetbootin to write it to a 4Gb USB and when I went to boot from the USB I get a boot error. any suggestions?
