Engaged, still. We can't afford a big, flashy wedding (which we both kind of want), so we're just working on saving money. Renting isn't the most stable way to live.

A cute semi-parody of Death Note where the main character winds up stuck with a weird cupid demon who wields the Love Note, a book in which any names written within fall in love. Guri is adorable and the whole show is hilarious, even the rapey penguin.

All I know of the Aladdin remake presently is that there's a lot of hate going on for the currently confirmed cast, because none of them are the right race.

GATE is bae, I've rewatched it countless times. I'm hoping for another season, as there's quite a lot more to the story than the end of the anime would suggest.

Money is money, basically. Things like Minions appeal to children, so of course they're going to cash in on that franchise as much as possible. I personally liked the Despicable Me movies, though I've not seen the third, nor Minions itself, so I can't say much on those. I can't say anything at all about Boss Baby or Sing, because I'm not that much of a kids movie-goer unless I get talked into going with my little one.
With regards to remakes I again can't say too much, though I'm curious as to why you believe them to be nothing but lazy remakes. Cinderella, The Jungle Book, and Beauty & the Beast were all well-received by critics and audience alike, and The Lion King isn't out for another two years, so I'm very curious as to how you can dub it a "lazy" remake.

Highly unacceptable thing to do to somebody, no matter how you rationalise it. Even if it isn't something written in the rules, it should be pretty much common sense. I'm in favour of a ban, but I'll defer to Spleen's judgment re: the issue.
