#114009 Farcry 6

Posted by Bowsette on 01 July 2021 - 03:28 PM

I will stand by my tested and perfected technique of completely ignoring it for a year, maybe two, then getting it on sale or having it show up for free in the Playstation store. Most of the bugs will be fixed, guides will be thoroughly established online, and i won't have to spend a silly amount of money on something that might suck.

I've become wise though experience and I'm never going back.

Honestly, same. I bought Far Cry 4 on sale as a bundle with all the DLC + Far Cry 3 HD (or Remaster, or whatever they taglined it as) for about $10; I spent the same for Far Cry 5's ultimate/gold edition. I don't trust Ubisoft enough to give them full dues, especially not upon a game's release. I still remember the abortion that was Assassins Creed 3.

My kid's school is shut as a precaution and has been for the past two weeks. They're shut for at least another month, so my wife and I are having to take turns taking time off work to look after her. That's fun. Not doing any doomsday preparation or anything; people are blowing it way out of proportion with buying up hand sanitiser and such.

Our county's the worst hit in the country, but eh.

I got promoted to manager last week.

I no longer desire this. People are garbage. This job is garbage. Why did I want this.

Yo, that guy's talented too. Those raps are straight fire. Way outta my league.

I really like that Bowsette lady, but I'm too shy to talk to her.

Wait what

I mostly just kill spambots; this place isn't very active and between health issues and other real-life things I don't have the ability to revive it.

#112199 Is there a way to get a cheap switch?

Posted by Bowsette on 10 December 2019 - 03:51 AM

my piont is that PS systems and games go down in price after a couple of months to a year. Switch by that estimate has been out two years and has not gone down at all. Most likely do to being trendy. This rule applys to every sort of system that isn't owned by nitendo.

There's a pretty self-evident reason for why Nintendo technology and software rarely takes price cuts. They can't afford to. While Sony, Microsoft etc. all work using existing computing technology, Nintendo goes all-in on the gimmick functions that require a very different level of hardware. Due to this it's more expensive to produce when compared to the Big Two, because they're basically just sticking PCs into a new case.

I will buy the fighter pass if Bowsette gets put in.

Make it happen, Nintendo.

Yasuhiro Takemoto was just confirmed as one of the dead. A heavy blow, considering he was the lead director behind Full Metal Panic, Lucky Star, The Melancholy (and Disappearance) of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.

Jim Carrey as Eggman is probably the best casting choice I've seen in years. I think he's going to carry the entire movie on his back; anyone else (except maybe Danny DeVito?) and the entire movie would be unsalvagable.

As it stands, even if it does turn out to be hot garbage, Carrey makes it worth a watch just for him.

What history was lost? The spire survived, the artwork and antiques are undamaged. The only thing that took any kind of damage is an organ that got wet, which can be restored very easily.

Really, it's amazing. They can restore the organ and they can restore the spire.

Bots typically don't use VPNs. And who was it that we banned for sockpuppeting a bunch of "bots" before..?

#110710 What Animes are you currently following?

Posted by Bowsette on 25 February 2019 - 01:58 PM

It's definitely worth a watch. The first episode is a little dull, since it's primarily setting up and expositing, but once you get past that it's all action, and a bit of politics.
