Here's a wierd one for you: Me.
Since I started working at the age of 15(?) I have worked in the "man's" world type of jobs.
From my fathers auto parts stores, to the Marine Corps, to plumbing, to driving a rig.
But...
I go get a mani-pedi as often as I can afford, I don't hate on men, I have the cutest lil pooch in the world, and read romance books.
And I love video games.
And I have tattoos.

It does irk me when I see a nitwit suing for a job that they obviously cannot perform.
I mean REALLY.
There are some jobs that women just cannot perform.
It falls into the "Know Your Limitations" category.

I also think Laura Croft was one of the best games of its time. I just wish they'd leave it be and stop with the remakes.

They won't. Tits sell.

Just look at porn, movies, TV, books, and music videos.

Good looks sell, and if they can keep selling the games, they will. Just look at COD, it's been the same regurgitated shit every time, with one or two new features added to try and look like they didn't copy/paste the last game.

How do you guys feel about Sailormoon in all this? I grew up rather rabidly obsessed, and kind-of learned everything I ever needed to know therein. To this day, Usagi gives me more hope than anyone else I've ever seen. (Except maybe V, I haven't fought that mental battle yet.)

Mamoru is kind-of a stereotype in that he's a rather non-affectionate Japanese man, and the Soldiers are all unreasonably pretty, but that last bit is just par for the course. And when you add the Starlights...

It's just so diverse. That's what I love about it. I think that's why it works so well plot-wise. Not The Hero? You don't have to be. Just do your best and kick ass when it calls for it. And pure love, baby.

Sailor moon was an alright show, didn't do much for me,I preferred Inuyasha, pokemon and DragonBall as a kid.

Oh, Also Ghost in the Shell. .//hack, Witchhunter Robin, and the Gundam shows.

Maybe it comes from being way out in Transgenderland, but I've always found gender/racial/social/whatever stereotypes to be just... wrong. They're ridiculous and oversimplified and frankly, an insult to human complexity.

See my rant in "Sexual Psychology..." for further reading.
