This thread is about the perspective of the Male Gaze. I'm gonna share an article that was made by Brandon Sheffield. I agree with his standpoint.

Now, I'm all for this article. I can understand why Male Gaze is a problem. I would like to think that we all can do better, whether it be in various fields such as movies, games, arts, or just as individuals. Certainly it's not just one sided but the fact of the matter is, males are more dominant in each field. Change isn't a bad thing but the odds that it will change are very unlikely. That doesn't me we should get complacent. I would just like to see more change.

Can't exactly blame me when a girl decides to dress like that. I mean I'm not gonna drool but I'm more than likely to at least notice. I'm sorry but that's just how hormones work, bro.

Well yeah, I totally understand that and I have nothing against that. But what the article is saying that there's a problem with how the develops sees the characters. At least that's somewhat of what I gathered. I don't know. The fact is, there's a problem.
