Max Payne 3 Multiplayer

Originally picked it up to finish the singleplayer story

found out that the online MP is pretty awesome.

The mp [well, more specifically, what happens to you] is narrated by Max, in his classic grim recountence

There is a vendetta system, where you can go on a vendetta against someone who has killed you twice in a row, if you kill them you get extra XP, but if they kill you, they get the extra XP.

Bullet time makes itself known in a controlled fashion. When you shootdodge or bullet time, only people in your line of sight slow down. You can get other adrenaline burst abilities instead of bullet time like additional health, increased firepower, and my favorite, espionage tactics such as making all enemies see friendly units as enemies also, or disguising yourself as an enemy unit.

Money system, you get money by looting corpses. Use said money to buy weapons, upgrades, and items. Lots of variations in the loadout and tons of stuff to buy, allowing for a variety of play styles.

Very clean presentation, intuitive and easy controls, fun, frantic action.

Fun gamemode called Payne Killer, where two players play as Max and Passos, and the rest are Cracha Preto tasked with killing them. Whichever player kills Max or Passos takes their place, and tries to survive as long as possible, scoring points for killing enemies, and switching back to Cracha preto when they are killed. It's a combination survival/teamwork, as Max and Passos have alot of firepower and painkillers.

Cons: Long loading times, messy matchmaking.
