Is anyone planning to buy it in October? By anyone, I mean the two or three other people who still use this site. I plan to get it for the PS4, because the PS5 is still hard to find and it costs well over $1,000. Back in the 1990s, game consoles were usually only about $200-$400. Inflation happens I guess.

I'll probably end up buying it. I normally like third-person shooter games because I want to be able to see the character I'm playing as, but Far Cry and Medal of Honor are usually exceptions to that rule.

I will stand by my tested and perfected technique of completely ignoring it for a year, maybe two, then getting it on sale or having it show up for free in the Playstation store. Most of the bugs will be fixed, guides will be thoroughly established online, and i won't have to spend a silly amount of money on something that might suck.

Honestly, same. I bought Far Cry 4 on sale as a bundle with all the DLC + Far Cry 3 HD (or Remaster, or whatever they taglined it as) for about $10; I spent the same for Far Cry 5's ultimate/gold edition. I don't trust Ubisoft enough to give them full dues, especially not upon a game's release. I still remember the abortion that was Assassins Creed 3.

Guess I'll be the oddball then. It almost seems like I'm the only person in the world who has pre-ordered it. I expect game play to be very similar to playing the Just Cause series (without the third person mode of course).

I never said the admins were lacking. It's just that these bots have been incredibly busier than the actual people who post here. I guess I need a life, don't I?
