I used to have this game growing up, I would play it none stop for hours and even sneak playing it late into the night. Then my PS2 broke and I lost the game and lost all memory of it. I recently bought a PS2 and was searching for a game to get with it and lo and behold! Dark Cloud 2 was re-found. It is as amazing as I remember it, but I do have one complaint.... And that is the voice acting. I actually play with the volume down it is so bad.

They need to HD remake that sumbitch. I never played the first game, but I played the HELL out of the second game. Though I always got screwed up eventually, because Max sucked so I never trained him. I powered up Monica so when she died I'd end up stuck using Max, who was weak as a bag of piss.

I actually did the opposite. I trained up Max and rarely used Monica.

the second one was okay but the first one was just so much fun and that game holds such fond sleep deprived memories

I played the first game and I thought it was amazing. Unfortunately, I got up to the last boss but I then got the game, along with most of my PS2 games, stolen. Haven't played it since.
